Grandma’s Ti Pang (Pork Shoulder)
Serves 6-8
Ingredients
Oil
Ti Pang (Pork Shoulder
Ginger (1-2 pieces, 2 inches each)
Green Onion (not chopped)
Rice Wine
Soy Sauce
Rock Sugar
Oyster Sauce
Method
Boil and rinse Ti Pang
Scrape fat and skin side with knife to thoroughly clean
Add oil and sauté ginger and green onion
Place Ti Pang fat side down to fry and close lid for few minutes
Add about ½ cup water
Add rice wine and soy sauce
After 10-15 minutes, add rock sugar and oyster sauce
Turn on high, then on low for 1-2 hours until tender
